Staff Volunteering
Volunteering is a meaningful way for our staff to give back to the communities we serve, and it’s something they genuinely enjoy. Whether it’s transforming a communal garden or brightening up an estate with a fresh lick of paint, these projects allow colleagues to connect with residents in a hands-on, positive way.
It’s not just about improving physical spaces, it’s about building relationships, fostering pride in our neighbourhoods, and showing that we care. Staff often say they find volunteering days rewarding and energising, offering a chance to step away from their usual roles and make a visible difference together.
Some of our past projects include:
- Redecorating and cleaning communal lounge spaces
- Painting planters to brighten up one some of our tower blocks
- Clearing the gardens and removing old sheds
- Helping set up a sensory space in one of our temporary accommodations
These projects have helped create stronger connections between residents, staff and partner organisations while improving shared spaces for everyone to enjoy. We have a long list of staff volunteers and partner organisations waiting to get involved, so we can't wait to see what comes next!
