South Essex Homes manages blocks of all shapes and sizes on behalf of Southend on Sea City Council, including several high rise buildings.  As part of our commitment to keeping residents informed, involved, and safe, we have created a  Building Safety Resident Engagement Strategy  that explains how we manage fire and structural safety risks across all 15 registered high rise blocks and how we work with you on matters that affect your home.

This Strategy sets out how we involve residents in safety related decisions, how we communicate important updates, and how we continually review and improve our approach to building safety.  It also explains your rights to information - such as fire risk assessments and evacuation guidance - and the steps we take to ensure everyone can access safety updates in the way that works best for them:  Building Safety Resident Engagement Strategy [pdf] 5MB
