Current Projects

  During the year 2026-27, we are working on a number of  large scale projects including:

1. Upgrading the ventilation systems to Sutton Court, Temple Court , Bewley & Longbow.  
2. Passenger lift modernisations to multiple sheltered schemes. 
3. Installation of communal solar lighting (Pictured.)
4. Replacement of door entry systems to high rise blocks with modern IP systems.
5. Boiler room upgrades to Nayland House and Kestrel House.

 

At present, we are making plans to have operatives working at various properties throughout the city to carry out:

• Decent Homes improvement works including:
  • Replacement bathrooms and kitchens
  • Replacement windows
  • Electrical r ewires
  • Boiler replacements
• Fire compartmentation works & fire door installations to The Brambles.

We are also busy with the refurbishment of properties that have been recently purchased by the Council to add to their housing stock, getting them ready to be rented out to people on the Housing Register.  

 

Recently completed projects

Door Entry System

We have now installed a modern IP door entry system to several high-rise blocks:

The system enables residents to see who is at the door via a video link and speak to them on the doorstep through a speaker, before deciding whether to allow the caller access to the building.
