Residents Help Us Improve MySEH
Thank you to everyone who has helped us shape the future of MySEH.
After we launched phase one of the MySEH portal in July 2025, we asked residents what they thought about it. We wanted to know what worked well and what could be improved. We also asked if anyone would like to help us develop MySEH in the future.
In May, we invited those residents, along with people signed up to SEH Points, to a workshop at The Forum. The workshop was run by our website partner, VerseOne.
We were pleased to see so many people attend. Our friends from the charity ATF (Achieve. Thrive. Flourish) also joined us and ran activities for children, so parents and carers could take part in the workshop.
During the day, residents took part in different activities to help us understand how they use websites. They told us where they would expect to find information and how different topics should be grouped together. This will help us make the website and portal easier to use.
The ideas and feedback we received have already helped move the project forward. Since the workshop, VerseOne has been busy working on the new MySEH portal and website.
We have now received the first "wireframes". These are simple plans that show how the new website and portal could look and how people will move around them.
The next phase of MySEH will also bring a new mobile app. This will give residents another easy way to access services, manage their account and find information wherever they are.
The next step is for VerseOne to create more detailed versions of the designs. Once these are ready, we will ask residents to test them and tell us what they think.
Would you like to help?
We are looking for residents to try out the new website, portal and mobile app before they go live. Your feedback will help us make sure they are easy to use and meet residents' needs.
If you would like to get involved, please email juliapack@seh.southend.gov.uk and we will add you to our testing mailing list.
Together, we can make MySEH work better for everyone.
