All residents have access to a Housing Support Officer, who is here to provide practical advice and tailored support to help you live independently and sustain your tenancy.

Our Housing Support Officers can offer support around:

  • Independent living
  • Preventing repeat homelessness
  • Tenancy sustainment
  • Worklessness and benefit dependency
  • Financial inclusion
  • Community cohesion and social isolation
  • Fuel and food poverty
  • Digital inclusion
  • Health and wellbeing

The Support Offered Can Include:

Housing and Rehousing Support

  • Assistance with rehousing or exploring downsizing options

Financial Support and Advice

  • Fuel and food vouchers
  • Benefit advice
  • Debt advice
  • Discretionary Housing Payment (DHP) applications
  • Essential Living Fund (ELF) applications
  • Hardship Fund applications

Referrals and Additional Support

  • Referrals to partner agencies such as Early Help, Citizens Advice, social care, and mental health services
  • Referrals to our in-house counselling service
