Keep Cool and Avoid Damp and Mould this Summer

We wanted to share a few quick and easy household hacks to keep your home fresh and mould-free as we start to move from Spring into Summer:

  • Use a bowl of rock salt or baking soda in problem areas like bathrooms, kitchens, or wardrobes. They will naturally absorb extra moisture in the air, making it harder for mould to grow. Replace every few weeks for best results!
  • Open your windows in the morning and evening when it's cooler to let fresh air in, this will help to stop damp air from building up.
  • A quick spritz of water mixed with white vinegar on bathroom and kitchen surfaces helps to zap away the mould.
  • Ferns, peace lilies, or spider plants can help keep humidity levels low while adding greenery to your space!
