The Big Conversation

In January our Resident Engagement team welcomed many residents to The Big Conversation, at Holiday Inn Southend. The event was organised to bring South Essex Homes tenants and leaseholders together under one roof to gather their honest opinions and feedback on South Essex Homes and service that we provide as their landlord.
Several topics were covered throughout the day including looking at the SEH Business Plan, Resident Engagement Strategy and Learning from Complaints. With each presentation there was an activity to give residents the chance to discuss their thoughts and ideas on the topic, and to then write down their feedback which will be used to shape future decisions and priorities.
The event was a great success with residents offering up their views and working together to create meaningful feedback. We were also powered by some wonderful refreshments organised throughout the day, including a hot or cold lunch and endless cups of tea!
It is extremely important to us that we gather a variety of viewpoints on the key topics affecting you, our residents, as you know your homes and communities better than anyone.
