Sandpiper Close Estate Inspection

Outcome of inspection:

Caretaking & Grounds Maintenance:

  • Bulk - A sofa has been dumped in the alleyway between kingfisher and sandpiper close - Darren has reported this to the bulk team.
  • Outside the back of the blocks - A bin has been left in the passage of the back door - Estates Services to put a sticker on it and remove it.
  • The Pink bags are also not being collected every week - Estate Services to liaise with Veolia (Suez)
  • Block 58- 72 - A Xmas tree and a box have been dumped in the bin room and pot of paint - Darren will sort this when doing his cleaning rounds tomorrow on 3rd April 2025.

Repairs:

  • Block 90-104 - Fan light window is stiff to open/close - repair to be raised, and what sounds like water is running in the cupboard - Clive is to investigate this - as this was raised from a previous estate walkabout.
  • Block 74-88 - Fan light windows are stiff - repair to be raised.

Tenancy:

  • 78 and 80 had a ring doorbell on the door - will send a letter.
  • Block 196 -120 Sandpiper Close - All okay - Nothing to raise.

  • 66-88 & 90-112: End of block – ground floor entrance & 1st floor property – climbing weeds and old ivy needs removing from the end of the block exterior walls.

Repairs:

  • 2-16: Bin area of block – Gully missing drain.
  • 90-112: Communal Rotary clothes airer – needs restringing.

Tenancy:

  • 42-64: Ground floor entrance – stairwell – buggies being stored.
  • 42-64: Tenant's front garden – overgrown tree.
  • 18-40: Tenant's garden — overgrown
